Brass Glass Curio Display Cabinet

A miniature brass glass curio display cabinet of French origin, designed to showcase small collectibles, jewelry, or trinkets on three interior glass shelves. This tabletop vitrine form was widely produced in France during the mid-twentieth century and remains a practical display piece for collectors today.

The octagonal form is constructed with clear glass panels set into soldered brass framing, giving the structure its characteristic warm gold tone. The brass shows an aged patina consistent with genuine vintage use, with some darkening and slight surface oxidation visible on the frame and corner joints. The cabinet stands on four small brass ball feet and opens via a front hinged glass door secured with a simple brass clasp. Interior shelving consists of three glass shelves with brass rail supports, allowing full visibility from all sides. The bottom shelf features a mirrored or plain glass base. No maker's mark, stamp or label is visible in the photos. No chips, cracks or repairs are observed in the glass panels.
