Chinese Rose Medallion Plate

Hand-painted porcelain showcases the traditional Chinese Rose Medallion pattern, featuring characteristic pink peonies within decorative medallions. This Chinese Rose Medallion plate displays the classic export porcelain style developed for Western markets during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The design centers around four large medallions, each containing pink roses surrounded by green foliage and decorative elements. Ornate scrollwork and floral motifs fill the spaces between medallions, while a smaller central roundel mirrors the main pattern. The color palette combines soft pink roses with green leaves, accented by red, blue and gold details on a white porcelain ground.

Measuring 26cm in diameter (approximately 10.2 inches), the plate shows the fine craftsmanship typical of Chinese export porcelain. The piece displays good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The reverse shows an undecorated white porcelain base with visible firing marks.
