A professional service Ruinart Champagne Ice Bucket from France, made for restaurant and hotel use and bearing the distinctive Ruinart Champagne house crest and logotype printed directly on the exterior. Ruinart, founded in Reims in 1729, is the oldest established champagne house, and branded service items such as this were supplied to hospitality venues as promotional pieces throughout the mid-to-late twentieth century. This Ruinart Champagne Ice Bucket is a sought-after piece among collectors of French bar and table accessories.

The bucket is fabricated in silver-plated metal with a high-polish chrome-like finish on the exterior. Two ring handles in aged brass tone are mounted on opposite sides via round ball-top posts, providing a warm contrast against the cooler silver body. A beaded border runs around the base, adding a period decorative detail. The interior shows honest wear consistent with use — some darkening, water staining and loss of the base plating are visible at the bottom interior, as shown in the photos.
