French Wine Crate Panel
This authentic French wine crate panel originates from Chateau Valoux estate in Pessac-Leognan, a distinguished wine region within Bordeaux. Dating from 1993, this wooden panel showcases the traditional craftsmanship of French viticulture packaging and represents the prestigious Grand Vin de Graves classification.
The natural wood construction displays visible grain patterns and precise laser-etched detailing throughout. The script lettering "Chateau Valoux" flows across the center panel, while "GRAND VIN DE GRAVES" curves above an oval estate illustration depicting the chateau building surrounded by vineyard rows. Metal mounting holes at each corner indicate its original functional purpose as part of a complete wine shipping crate.
Measuring 33cm x 16.5cm (13" x 6.5"), this panel shows authentic patina consistent with its age and previous use. The wood maintains its structural integrity with characteristic signs of handling from its original wine transport function. The etched graphics remain clearly defined, preserving the estate's distinctive branding elements.
This piece serves as an ideal decorative accent for wine cellars, kitchen displays, or French country interiors, offering collectors an authentic piece of Bordeaux wine heritage.
