French Wine Crate Panel
This authentic French wine crate panel originates from Chateau Chantet Blanet in the prestigious Puisseguin Saint-Emilion appellation of Bordeaux. Dating from the year 2000, this genuine wooden panel formed part of an original wine shipping crate that once transported fine Bordeaux wines from the estate to distributors.
The panel displays classic French wine estate design elements with black and burgundy printing on natural wood. The chateau name "Chantet Blanet" appears prominently above a detailed engraving of the estate building surrounded by trees. The natural wood grain creates a distinctive two-toned appearance, with lighter and darker wood sections visible throughout the panel. Text includes "Puisseguin Saint-Emilion" and "Selectionne par Lyonel Leconte" along with a heraldic crest.
Measuring 33cm x 16.5cm (13" x 6.5"), this French wine crate panel remains in excellent vintage condition with authentic patina and minor wear consistent with its original commercial use. The wood surface shows natural aging and the printing remains clearly legible. Metal attachment points are visible at the corners where it was originally secured to the shipping crate.
This piece serves as distinctive wall decor for wine cellars, kitchens, or dining areas, offering collectors an authentic piece of Bordeaux wine history from a specific vintage year.
