This French vintage floral painting represents mid-20th century provincial artistry discovered in an old French house. Signed "L. Julien" in the lower right corner, this still life work demonstrates the impressionistic style favored by regional artists of the period.

The composition depicts a vibrant bouquet of mixed wildflowers arranged in a ceramic pot against a turquoise background. The artist employed visible brushstrokes to capture daisies, carnations, and delicate stems in an array of colors including reds, yellows, blues, purples, and whites.
