Stamped clearly with the mark "GAILLARD PARIS", this French copper pan is a solid example of professional-grade cookware produced by one of the most respected Parisian coppersmith houses of the 19th and early 20th century. The Gaillard Paris copper pan was supplied to restaurant kitchens and bourgeois households alike, and pieces bearing this mark are consistently sought by collectors and working cooks who value historical French batterie de cuisine.

The body is hand-hammered copper, giving the exterior a faceted texture across the entire surface. The interior retains its original tin lining, now darkened and worn with use, showing the characteristic grey-black patina of aged tin rather than bright silver. The lining is intact with no visible perforations. The handle is wrought iron, forged with a slight downward curve and attached to the pan body by two copper rivets, clearly visible both from inside and outside the pan.
