A French brass double photo frame dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, designed to hold two portrait-format photographs side by side. The frame opens like a book and stands freely on a shared brass support structure, making it a classic example of French parlour or dressing table accessories from the Belle Epoque period. Each panel consists of beveled glass held in place by a brass clip at the top, decorated with a cast brass ribbon and bow ornament — a motif widely associated with Louis XVI and Belle Epoque decorative arts. The brass bow crests are openwork and show fine cast detail including interlaced ribbon loops and trailing ribbon ends. Both panels rest on small brass ball feet.
