Produced by the Keller et Guerin manufactory in Luneville, Lorraine, France, this oval serving platter carries the printed mark "Phenix K&G Luneville" on the reverse -- a mark used by this well-established French faience maker from the late 19th century onward. The Luneville blue white platter form is a classic output of this factory, known for its transfer-printed earthenware in the blue and white tradition.

The decoration is applied via transfer print in a soft steel blue on a white earthenware ground. The border features a dense band of Baroque-revival scrollwork with circular medallions enclosing foliate motifs, alternating with acanthus-style curves. From this border, delicate trailing sprigs extend inward across the wide rim, creating a layered visual transition toward the plain white well. The glaze shows visible crazing across the surface, consistent with the age of the piece. The fourth and fifth photos reveal a small crack near the upper rim area and a minor chip with rust-colored marks, which are honestly noted here for the buyer.

The platter measures approximately 35cm x 25cm x 4cm deep / 13.8" x 9.8" x 1.6".
