E. Dehillerin, the legendary Parisian kitchen supply house established in 1820 and still operating today near Les Halles, stamped its name on this hand-hammered E Dehillerin Paris copper saucepan. Dehillerin supplied professional kitchens and home cooks across France for generations, and a pan bearing this mark is a recognised piece of French culinary history. The stamp, clearly visible on the exterior wall near the handle, reads "E. DEHILLERIN PARIS" in an arched serif typeface characteristic of the maison's traditional markings.

The exterior is hammered copper with an allover peened finish, giving the surface a faceted, hand-worked texture consistent with professional-grade French copperware produced in the mid-20th century. The interior retains its original tin lining, which shows age-related darkening, light scratching and some patchy discolouration consistent with decades of use -- all normal for vintage tinned copper. The tin remains intact with no visible through-wear or exposed copper on the cooking surface. The handle is wrought iron, forged in the classic French "queue de casserole" form with a slight upward curve and a small hanging loop at the tip. It is attached with two copper rivets.
