A French Christofle silver plated fish knife, made in the Perle (beaded) pattern, one of the house's most enduring flatware lines. The Christofle silver plated fish knife is a serving piece intended for fish courses at formal table settings, featuring the characteristic wide, pointed elliptical blade used to lift and portion fish fillets without breaking them.

The handle displays the Perle pattern, defined by a continuous double row of small rounded beads running along both outer edges from tip to blade junction. The handle itself is smooth-faced between the bead borders, with a rounded spatula-like terminal. The wide elliptical blade has a lightly hammered or brushed surface texture showing fine scratch marks consistent with use. On the underside of the blade, two stamps are clearly visible: the Christofle maker's mark in a rectangular cartouche reading "CHRISTOFLE" with the house symbol above, and a second smaller square hallmark, likely a silver plate quality or production mark. These marks confirm authentic Christofle manufacture. The surface shows honest wear typical of vintage silver plate: light scratching across the blade face and handle, with no deep dents or repairs observed.
