The maker's mark is clearly stamped on the interior of the lid, confirming its provenance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pot is made from heavy-gauge copper, measured at 2mm thickness, giving it substantial weight and excellent heat conductivity. The exterior retains its warm copper tone, polished to a good shine with some light surface scratches consistent with age and prior use. The interior is lined with tin, showing the characteristic silver-grey finish of hand-tinned copperware, with minor scuff marks but no exposed copper. The two side handles and the lid handle are cast brass, attached with steel rivets. The brass shows some natural patina and slight verdigris at the joints, which is typical and expected on vintage copper cookware of this type.
