This one retains both its sturdy ring side handles, which pivot on cast aluminium posts, and its clean, tapered cylindrical form with decorative turned grooves at the upper and lower body.

The polished aluminium surface has the warm, slightly satin sheen that develops with honest use, and the VCP crest badge sits boldly on the front, its golden field still vivid. The interior shows the traditional concentric-ring base typical of French professional barware of the period. "Made in France" is clearly embossed on the outer base. Handsome on a bar cart, a sideboard or a kitchen shelf, it works just as well today as a wine cooler or a holder for flowers, utensils or a bottle of rose.

Condition and patina consistent with age. Light surface scratches to the aluminium body and some minor interior marks, all in keeping with a well-used piece of vintage French bistro equipment.

Approx. 7.9 in diameter (20 cm).

95% of my items are tariff-free to the US.
