The body is a warm cream ironstone, sturdy and well-potted, raised on a graceful baluster stem that flares into a broad, shallow bowl.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe decoration is a classic brown-on-cream transfer print: a naturalistic spray of roses and climbing foliage fills the center of the bowl, while a delicate repeating vine-and-blossom garland runs along the rim and around the foot of the base. Every surface is considered -- the pedestal itself carries its own smaller floral motif, giving the piece a composed, well-balanced presence from every angle.
